🌮 Chipotle Lime Shrimp Tacos – Smoky, Zesty & Fresh

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Marinate the Shrimp:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine shrimp, chipotle chili powder, olive oil, garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Toss to coat well and marinate for 10–15 minutes while preparing other ingredients.

2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Do not overcook.
  3. Remove from heat and set aside.

3️⃣ Warm the Tortillas:

  1. Heat tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until warm and flexible. Keep warm in a towel or tortilla warmer.

4️⃣ Assemble the Tacos:

  1. Place shredded lettuce or cabbage onto each tortilla as a base.
  2. Top with shrimp, diced tomatoes or pico de gallo, crumbled cheese (if using), and chopped cilantro.

5️⃣ Serve:

  • Serve immediately with lime wedges for squeezing and optional toppings like sour cream or sliced avocado for extra richness.
