  1. Serve and enjoy: Serve the Spicy Bang Bang Shrimp immediately, garnished with a sprinkle of chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired. These shrimp are best enjoyed fresh, with a side of steamed rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal. They’re also perfect as a party appetizer or snack!

Notes

  • If you prefer a lighter version, you can bake the shrimp instead of frying. Simply place the battered shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they’re crispy.
  • If you like it extra spicy, you can add a bit more sriracha or sprinkle some red pepper flakes on top of the shrimp for an extra kick!
  • The sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Just give it a good stir before using!
  • Leftover shrimp can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, though they are best eaten fresh for maximum crispiness.
