- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp fine salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- (Optional) 2–3 tbsp sugar for rolling
Caramel Topping
- ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade, cooled)
