Instructions (Air Fryer Method)
- Season the Chicken:
Place the chicken wing portions in a large mixing bowl. Add the lemon pepper seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt. Toss the wings thoroughly so that the spices are evenly distributed and every wing is well coated. - Air Fry the Wings – First Side:
Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding for even crisping. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 15 minutes. The skin should begin to crisp up and start turning golden. - Flip and Continue Cooking:
Open the air fryer and carefully flip each wing. Cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes depending on the size of the wings and desired crispiness. The internal temperature should reach at least 165°F (74°C) for safe consumption, but 175°F+ will yield a juicier texture.
