Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Tater Tot Cones

Now, it’s time to assemble the tater tot cones. Once the tater tots are slightly cooled, take a few and arrange them in a cone shape, placing them standing upright on a baking sheet. You can secure them with a bit of melted butter or oil to help them hold their shape. Press the tater tots together to form a stable base. If you have a small muffin tin or other cone-shaped molds, you can also use them to help shape the cones more easily.

Once the cones are shaped, carefully spoon the cheesy beef mixture into each tater tot cone. Fill each cone generously with the beef and cheese mixture, ensuring it’s packed in tightly.

Top each cone with more crumbled bacon for added flavor and crunch. You can also sprinkle a little more shredded cheese on top if you like extra gooeyness.

Place the stuffed tater tot cones back into the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bacon is crisped up. This will allow the flavors to meld together and the cones to heat through.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Tater Tot Cones hot, with a side of ketchup and mustard for dipping, or drizzle with your favorite sauce. These cones are perfect for a casual meal, game day snacks, or a fun twist on traditional sliders. You can also serve them with a side of salad or veggies for a well-rounded meal.

Make-Ahead & Storage

If you want to make these ahead of time, you can assemble the tater tot cones and store them in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking. Alternatively, you can freeze the assembled cones for up to 2 months. To reheat, bake them from frozen at 400°F (200°C) for about 15-20 minutes, or until hot and crispy.
