1️⃣ Cook the Pasta:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and set aside while you prepare the shrimp mixture.
2️⃣ Prepare the Shrimp:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbling.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant — avoid browning.
- Add the shrimp, lemon zest, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side, or just until they turn pink and are opaque. Do not overcook.
- Remove from heat immediately once shrimp are cooked through.
