Baked Parmesan Chicken (Simple & Flavorful)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven. Set the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly with cooking spray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare the topping. In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until the mixture is creamy and well-combined. This creamy topping will form the flavorful crust on the chicken breasts.
  3. Arrange the chicken. Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the greased baking dish. Make sure they are arranged in a single layer for even cooking.
  4. Spread the topping. Evenly spread the mayonnaise-Parmesan mixture over the tops of each chicken breast, making sure the entire surface is coated. The layer of topping should be generous for the best flavor.
  5. Bake the chicken. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C) and the topping is golden and bubbly.
  6. Garnish and serve. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for a touch of color and extra flavor. Serve with your favorite side dishes, such as rice, roasted vegetables, or a crisp salad.
