Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps Recipe

Directions

  1. Sauté the Garlic
    1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic, as it can turn bitter.
  2. Prepare the Chicken Filling
    1. Add the shredded chicken to the skillet with the garlic. Stir to combine and heat through for about 3-4 minutes.
    2. Season the mixture with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Continue to stir for another 1-2 minutes, ensuring the chicken is well-coated with the seasoning and garlic.
  3. Add the Cheese
    1. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture. Stir until the cheese is fully melted and the mixture is creamy and gooey, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Prepare the Tortillas
    1. While the chicken mixture is cooking, warm the flour tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave until soft and pliable, about 20 seconds in the microwave or 1 minute in a dry skillet over medium heat.
    2. Brush each tortilla lightly with melted butter to enhance the flavor and give it a golden, crispy texture when you cook the wraps.
  5. Assemble the Wraps
    1. Place an equal portion of the cheesy chicken mixture onto the center of each warmed tortilla.
    2. Carefully fold the sides of the tortilla in and roll it up, securing the filling inside.
  6. Cook the Wraps
    1. Heat a small amount of butter or olive oil in the skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
    2. Remove from the skillet and set aside to cool slightly before serving.
  7. Serve and Garnish
    1. Slice the wraps in half and sprinkle with chopped parsley for a fresh finish.
    2. Serve immediately, with your favorite dipping sauce or a side of veggies!
