- Cherry Topping:
- 1 can cherry pie filling (for the sweet, fruity topping)
- Optional Icing:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Prepare the dough: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Start by preparing the dough for the crust. You can use either refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough for this recipe, depending on the texture you prefer. For a more traditional pizza dough, roll out the pizza dough into a circle or rectangle, depending on your preferred shape for the pizza. If using crescent roll dough, unroll the dough and press the seams together to form one solid sheet of dough. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Bake the crust: Bake the dough in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until it is golden brown and cooked through. Keep an eye on the dough to make sure it doesn’t over-bake. Once the crust is golden and crisp, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool slightly while you prepare the filling and topping.
