Chocolate & Orange Cheesecake with Silky Ganache

4️⃣ Make the Ganache

  1. Heat the cream in a small saucepan until just beginning to simmer—do not boil.
  2. Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl and pour the hot cream over it.
  3. Let sit for 1 minute, then stir slowly from the center outward until smooth and glossy.
  4. If using, stir in the butter to give the ganache extra shine and silkiness.
  5. Allow the ganache to cool slightly, then pour over the chilled cheesecake. Use a spatula to spread it evenly to the edges.
