Cook the Extra Fluffy Rice:
- In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Stir in the butter and chicken-flavored bouillon until fully dissolved. This creates a flavorful base for the rice.
- Add the uncooked rice directly to the boiling water (no rinsing). Stir briefly to prevent sticking, cover tightly, and immediately reduce the heat to low.
- Let the rice steam undisturbed for 15 minutes. Do not lift the lid — this traps the steam and cooks the rice evenly.
- Remove the pan from the heat and place a clean paper towel over the pot, then replace the lid. Let rest off heat for 5 more minutes to absorb excess moisture and fluff the grains.
- Remove lid and towel, then fluff gently with a fork. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
