1️⃣ Prepare the Apple Filling
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour.
- Toss gently until apples are evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread into an even layer.
2️⃣ Make the Crumble Topping
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add cold butter cubes and cut them into the dry mixture using a pastry cutter, fork, or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3️⃣ Assemble & Bake
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apple filling.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apple filling is bubbling around the edges.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving to allow the filling to set slightly.
