Classic Meat & Potato Casserole

Instructions

1. Preheat & Prepare:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 11×7-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

2. Cook the Meat:

  1. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef or venison with the chopped onion. Sauté for 6–8 minutes until the meat is fully browned and the onions are soft.
  2. Drain off any excess grease. Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices such as garlic powder, paprika, or rosemary.

3. Prepare the Sauce:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, stock, milk or cream, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until smooth and well blended.
