Instructions
1. Preheat & Prepare:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 11×7-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
2. Cook the Meat:
- In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef or venison with the chopped onion. Sauté for 6–8 minutes until the meat is fully browned and the onions are soft.
- Drain off any excess grease. Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices such as garlic powder, paprika, or rosemary.
3. Prepare the Sauce:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, stock, milk or cream, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until smooth and well blended.
