Cookies and Cream Chex Mix Muddy Buddies (Oreo-Inspired Snack Mix)

Instructions

Divide the Chex cereal evenly into two large bowls — 2½ cups in each.
In one gallon-sized zip-top bag, place 1 cup of powdered icing sugar. Seal and set aside — this will be used for the white chocolate batch.

Twist open the Oreo cookies and scrape out the filling. Set the filling aside for later use.
Place the cookie halves into a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
Transfer the crumbs to another zip-top bag and add the remaining ½ cup of powdered icing sugar. Seal and shake well to combine evenly.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 25-second intervals, stirring between each until fully smooth.
Stir in the reserved Oreo filling (optional, for extra cookies-and-cream flavor) until fully incorporated and creamy.
Pour the white chocolate mixture over one bowl of Chex cereal and stir gently to coat every piece.
Transfer the coated cereal to the bag with plain powdered sugar. Seal and shake thoroughly to coat each piece evenly.
