๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions
1๏ธโฃ Preheat the Oven
- Heat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2๏ธโฃ Prepare the Salmon
- Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
- Using a sharp knife, carefully slice a slit down the center of each fillet to create a pocket (be careful not to cut all the way through).
- Brush the salmon with olive oil or melted butter, then season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
3๏ธโฃ Make the Stuffing
- In a bowl, combine crab meat, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic, fresh parsley, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese.
- Mix well until the stuffing is creamy and well-blended. Taste and season with salt and pepper if needed.
4๏ธโฃ Stuff the Salmon
- Spoon the crab-and-shrimp stuffing into the slit of each salmon fillet, pressing gently to close. Some stuffing may overflow, which is fine!
5๏ธโฃ Bake
- Place the stuffed salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 18โ22 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the stuffing is heated through.
6๏ธโฃ Serve
- Garnish the salmon with fresh dill or parsley and lemon wedges for a burst of color and freshness.
- Serve with your favorite side dishes like rice, roasted vegetables, or a light salad.
