Crack Breakfast Casserole

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Casserole Dish:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

2️⃣ Assemble the Layers:

  1. Evenly spread the frozen hash browns in the bottom of the prepared baking dish — no need to thaw.
  2. Layer the cooked and crumbled sausage evenly over the hash browns.
  3. Sprinkle the cooked bacon crumbles over the sausage layer.
  4. Top with 1½ cups of the shredded cheddar cheese, reserving the rest for later.

3️⃣ Mix the Egg Mixture:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and ranch dressing mix until smooth and fully combined.
  2. Slowly pour the egg mixture over the assembled layers in the baking dish, ensuring even coverage.

4️⃣ Top and Bake:

  1. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
  2. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until the center is set and the cheese is golden and bubbly on top. A knife inserted into the middle should come out clean.
