Creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta

METHOD

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain, reserving about ½ cup of pasta water, and set aside while preparing the sauce.

2️⃣ Prepare the Chicken and Bacon

  1. In a large pan over medium-high heat, heat the cooking oil.
  2. Add the chicken strips and bacon bits. Fry for about 3 minutes until lightly golden and the bacon begins to crisp.

3️⃣ Add the Vegetables

  1. Add the chopped onion, red pepper, and crushed garlic to the pan. Sauté until the vegetables are soft and fragrant, about 3–4 minutes.

4️⃣ Make the Cream Sauce

  1. Pour in the white wine (if using) and let it simmer for about 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
  2. Add the fresh cream and stir well. Lower the heat and simmer gently for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  3. Season with Amapelepele chicken spice and freshly ground black pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
