- ½ teaspoon Adobo seasoning
- Seasoned Flour Coating:
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Mrs. Dash seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- For Frying:
- Corn oil (or vegetable oil or peanut oil)
- Oil for frying (heated to 350°F)
- For the Coleslaw:
- 1 bag coleslaw mix (store-bought)
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon sugar (to balance the acidity)
