Crock Pot Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Crock Pot

  1. In a large crock pot (6-quarts or larger), cover the bottom with 2 cups of the brown sugar.This creates a sweet base that melts into syrup as the ham heats.

2️⃣ Add the Ham

  1. Place the ham on top of the brown sugar.Gently open the spiral slices with your hands to help the flavors seep inside.
  2. Pour the honey evenly over the entire ham.The honey adds shine and deep caramel notes to the glaze.
  3. Add the pineapple (with its juice) around the sides and spoon some over the top.The acidity helps balance the sweetness while infusing the ham with pineapple flavor.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining 1 1/2 cups brown sugar evenly over the top of the ham.This creates the signature sticky-sweet crust as it melts.
