Deep-Fried Shrimp Alfredo Burrito Bites

  1. Fry the Burrito Bites:
Heat enough oil in a deep pan or heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat to submerge at least half the height of the burritos. Once the oil reaches approximately 350°F (175°C), carefully lower a few burritos into the pan using tongs. Do not overcrowd the pan—fry in batches if necessary.
  2. Cook Until Golden:
Fry for about 3–4 minutes per side, or until the exterior is evenly golden and crisp. Turn gently to cook all sides. Once cooked, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
  3. Serve:
Serve the burrito bites warm, cut in half if desired, with extra Alfredo sauce on the side for dipping. Garnish with a sprinkle of parsley or a dash of paprika for presentation, if desired.

Tips & Serving Suggestions

  • Cheese Options: Try Monterey Jack or provolone in place of mozzarella for a different melt and flavor profile.
  • Make-Ahead: Assemble and bread the burritos ahead of time and refrigerate up to 2 hours before frying.
  • Serving Idea: Pair with a crisp side salad or roasted vegetables for a fuller meal.
  • Filling Variations: Substitute shrimp with diced chicken or crab for variety.

Note: These bites are best enjoyed fresh and hot for maximum crispiness and flavor.
