1️⃣ Cook the Pasta 🍝
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Sauté the Veggies 🧅🌶️
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and bell peppers (if using). Sauté for about 5 minutes, until softened.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
3️⃣ Spice it Up 🌶️
- Stir in the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly, to toast the spices.
4️⃣ Cook the Shrimp 🦐
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3–5 minutes per side until they are pink and opaque.
5️⃣ Combine & Serve 🍽️
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
