👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat & Prep
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Beef
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat.
3️⃣ Assemble the Casserole
- In a large bowl, combine cooked ground beef, frozen potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream (if using).
- Stir in half the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared casserole dish.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
