Easy Ground Beef Casserole 🧀🥔

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish and set aside.

2️⃣ Cook the Beef

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess grease.
  • Stir in minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat.

3️⃣ Assemble the Casserole

  • In a large bowl, combine cooked ground beef, frozen potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream (if using).
  • Stir in half the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until evenly coated.
  • Spread the mixture into the prepared casserole dish.
  • Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
