Easy Peach Cobbler

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Prepare the Dish: Pour melted butter into the bottom of a greased 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking dish.
  3. Make the Batter: In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and milk. Stir until smooth and well blended.
  4. Assemble: Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter — do not stir. The layers will create a golden crust as it bakes.
  5. Add the Fruit: Spoon the peaches (with their juice) evenly over the batter.
  6. Bake: Place the dish in the oven and bake for 35 minutes.
  7. Add the Topping: About halfway through baking, sprinkle cinnamon and extra sugar evenly over the top for a sweet, caramelized finish.
  8. Finish Baking: Continue baking until the cobbler is golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Cool & Serve: Let it cool slightly before serving — it’s heavenly warm right out of the oven!
