Fireball Cherry Blasters Recipe

Directions

  1. Prepare the Cherries
    1. Start by draining the maraschino cherries and patting them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This will help the cherries soak up the Fireball and syrup without becoming too soggy.
  2. Soak the Cherries
    1. Place the dried cherries into a bowl and pour the Fireball Cinnamon Whisky over them, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24-48 hours. The longer they soak, the more flavorful they’ll become!
  3. Make the Syrup
    1. While the cherries are soaking, make the syrup by combining the granulated sugar, water, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir until the sugar has fully dissolved, creating a smooth syrup.
  4. Combine the Cherries and Syrup
    1. Once the cherries have soaked, remove them from the Fireball Whisky and discard any excess liquid. Place the cherries into a jar and pour the prepared syrup over them, ensuring they are completely covered.
    2. Seal the jar tightly and refrigerate for an additional 24 hours to allow the cherries to fully absorb the syrup.
  5. Melt the Chocolate
    1. After the cherries have absorbed the syrup, melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave. Place them in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each session, until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
  6. Dip the Cherries in Chocolate
    1. Once the chocolate is melted, dip each soaked cherry into the chocolate, ensuring that it is fully coated. Place the chocolate-dipped cherries onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, being careful not to let them touch each other.
  7. Chill and Set
    1. Refrigerate the chocolate-dipped cherries for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate hardens and sets.
  8. Enjoy
    1. Once the chocolate has hardened, your Fireball Cherry Blasters are ready to enjoy! Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, if they last that long!
