1οΈβ£ Prepare the Dish
- Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- In a 9Γ13-inch baking dish, combine the uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth (or water).
- Season with salt and pepper, and add optional garlic or onion powder for extra flavor. Stir to combine.
2οΈβ£ Add the Chicken
- Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture. Season the chicken with additional salt and pepper.
- If desired, you can also add a few pats of butter on top of the chicken breasts for extra richness.
3οΈβ£ Bake the Chicken
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45β55 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165Β°F / 74Β°C).
- After baking, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to slightly crisp the chicken and allow the rice to absorb any remaining liquid.
4οΈβ£ Serve
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve the chicken on top of the rice, garnished with fresh parsley or chives if desired.
