1. Prepare the prawns
Rinse and pat dry the prawns. Keep the shells on to retain extra flavor while grilling. Devein the prawns and set them aside.
2. Make the garlic butter
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, olive oil, paprika (if using), salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
3. Marinate
Toss the prawns in the garlic butter mixture until evenly coated. Let them sit for 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to marinate and soak in.
4. Grill the prawns
Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the prawns for 2–3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Brush with extra garlic butter while grilling to intensify the flavor.
5. Serve
Transfer the grilled prawns to a plate, drizzle with any remaining garlic butter, and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side. The tangy lemon will complement the richness of the butter beautifully.
