Grilled Steak and Garlic Butter Shrimp Alfredo

A luxurious surf & turf Alfredo featuring juicy grilled steak, garlic-butter shrimp, and silky fettuccine swirled through a rich Parmesan cream sauce. This dish brings together tender beef, perfectly seared shellfish, and a classic Alfredo base for a plate that’s indulgent, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Each component enhances the others, creating layers of flavor while remaining simple and approachable enough for a home kitchen.

Ingredients

For the steak:

  • 1 ribeye or sirloin steak (250–300g)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 sprig rosemary or thyme

For the shrimp:

  • 200g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp paprika or Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Squeeze of lemon juice

For the Alfredo sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 250ml heavy cream
  • 80g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the pasta:

  • 300g fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
