Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the chicken. In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of dried thyme, and salt and pepper to taste. This mixture will serve as a marinade for the chicken, infusing it with herbaceous flavor. Whisk the ingredients together until well combined.
  2. Place the 2 chicken breasts (or thighs) in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is fully coated. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator. The longer it marinates, the more flavorful the chicken will be.
