- For a healthier version, use whole wheat pizza dough or whole grain crescent roll dough.
- If you prefer a crispier pocket, brush the dough with a little olive oil or melted butter before baking.
- You can freeze these pizza pockets before baking. To do so, assemble the pockets, place them on a baking sheet, and freeze until solid. Then transfer them to a freezer-safe container or bag. When ready to eat, bake from frozen at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-18 minutes.
