Homemade Easy Cheesy Pizza Pockets – Quick, Cheesy, and Perfect for Snack Time

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Prepare the Filling

In a small bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning together. This will create the perfect cheesy, herby blend for your pizza pockets.

3. Assemble the Pizza Pockets

If you’re using store-bought pizza dough, roll it out onto a floured surface. You can also make your own dough if preferred.

  • Roll the dough into circles or squares, depending on your preference for shape.
  • Place a spoonful of the cheese and seasoning mixture in the center of each dough circle or square.
  • Fold the dough over to create a pocket, sealing the edges by pressing with your fingers or a fork.

4. Add the Egg Wash

Brush the tops of the pizza pockets with the beaten egg. This will give them a beautiful golden color and a slight sheen once baked.

5. Bake the Pizza Pockets

Place the filled pizza pockets on the prepared baking sheet. Bake them for about 15–20 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

6. Serve and Enjoy!

Once they’re baked, remove the pizza pockets from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
