Homemade Maple Donut Bars

  1. Prepare the Maple Glaze: In a medium bowl, whisk together 1½ cups powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup, 1 tablespoon milk, and ½ teaspoon maple extract if using. Stir until the glaze is smooth and pourable. Adjust the consistency by adding a little more milk if needed for easier dipping.
  2. Glaze the Donuts: While the donut bars are still warm, dip each one into the prepared maple glaze, allowing excess to drip back into the bowl. Place the glazed donuts on a wire rack to set, ensuring they don’t stick together and the glaze hardens slightly for a glossy finish.
