Honey Butter Sweet Potato Cornbread 🍯🍠🍞

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Oven & Pan

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan or a 9-inch round cake pan. You can also use a cast iron skillet for rustic edges.

2️⃣ Mix the Dry Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using).

3️⃣ Mix the Wet Ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk the mashed sweet potatoes, honey, melted butter, eggs, and milk until smooth and fully combined.

4️⃣ Combine & Transfer

  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir just until no dry streaks remain. Do not overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top evenly.

    5️⃣ Bake
