Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon with Steamed Broccoli 🍯🐟🥦

👩‍🍳 Directions

1️⃣ Make the Glaze

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice or vinegar.
  2. Add chili flakes if using. Set aside.

2️⃣ Cook the Salmon

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Place salmon skin-side down (if skin-on) and cook for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and nearly cooked through.

3️⃣ Glaze & Finish

  1. In the last 1–2 minutes of cooking, pour the prepared glaze into the pan.
  2. Spoon the sauce over the salmon as it thickens, creating a glossy coating.
  3. Remove from heat once salmon is fully cooked and the sauce has slightly reduced.

4️⃣ Steam the Broccoli

  1. Steam broccoli florets in a steamer basket or microwave with a splash of water and pinch of salt for 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  2. Season with garlic powder or lemon juice if desired.

5️⃣ Plate & Serve

  • Place salmon fillets on a plate next to the steamed broccoli.
  • Drizzle any extra glaze from the pan over the top of the salmon.
  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for added brightness.
