Step 1: Cook the Sausage
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the sliced sausage and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sausage is browned and slightly crispy on the edges. This will enhance its flavor and texture. Once cooked, remove the sausage from the skillet and set it aside.
Step 2: Sauté the Broccoli
In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt. Once melted, add the broccoli florets and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they become crisp-tender. The broccoli should still have a slight crunch and bright green color. Remove the broccoli from the skillet and set it aside with the sausage.
Step 3: Cook the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through. Shrimp cook quickly, so be careful not to overcook them. Once done, remove them from the skillet and set them aside with the sausage and broccoli.
