Instructions
- Brown the beef. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with the diced onions, salt, and pepper over medium heat. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are soft. Drain any excess fat from the skillet to keep the casserole from being greasy.
- Assemble the casserole. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish. In the prepared baking dish, combine the cooked pasta, browned beef, drained corn, BBQ sauce, and 1/2 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix everything together until evenly combined.
- Bake the casserole. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole. Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the cheese is golden and melted.
- Serve. Once the casserole is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This gives the flavors time to settle and makes it easier to scoop. Serve hot, and enjoy this hearty, cheesy casserole!
