Mac & Cheese Bacon Burger Rolls

Carefully roll up each piece of dough around the filling, pinching the sides to seal the rolls tightly. Place the filled rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each roll to allow for even baking.

Brush the tops of the rolls with a little olive oil or melted butter. This will give them a golden, crispy finish as they bake. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling out slightly from the sides. The rolls should be crispy on the outside, while the inside remains soft and cheesy.

Serving Suggestions

Once baked, remove the rolls from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving. These Mac & Cheese Bacon Burger Rolls are great on their own, or you can serve them with a side of marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping. They also pair wonderfully with a fresh salad or a side of crispy fries.

Make-Ahead & Storage

If you want to make these rolls ahead of time, you can assemble them the night before, store them in the refrigerator, and then bake them the next day. Alternatively, you can freeze the assembled rolls before baking. Place the unbaked rolls on a baking sheet, freeze them until solid, and then transfer them to a freezer-safe bag or container. When you’re ready to bake, simply bake from frozen at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and heated through.
