👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Crust
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, stir together graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until evenly moistened.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove and let cool completely.
2️⃣ Make the Chocolate Filling
- In a saucepan, combine cream, milk, and chocolate chips over medium-low heat. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, and salt.
- Slowly pour some of the warm chocolate mixture into the egg yolk mixture to temper the eggs, whisking constantly.
- Return everything to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 5–7 minutes).
- Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
