👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat & Prep
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 12-cup bundt pan or a 9×13-inch pan. (For bundt pans, use a baking spray with flour for best release.)
2️⃣ Make the Batter
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, oil, eggs, warm water, and vanilla extract.
- Mix on low for 30 seconds, then beat on medium speed for 2 minutes until thick and well combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips evenly using a spatula.
3️⃣ Bake
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes (bundt) or 35–40 minutes (9×13-inch) — until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
- Cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely if using a bundt pan.
