No-Knead Spoon Bread Rolls – Soft, Simple & Foolproof

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Mix the Liquids:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, eggs, sugar, yeast, and oil.
  2. Stir vigorously with a whisk or spoon for about 1 minute until the yeast dissolves and the mixture is smooth.

2️⃣ Add the Flour:

  1. Stir in half of the flour and mix for 2 minutes until incorporated.
  2. Add the remaining flour and salt, then mix for 5–7 minutes until a smooth, sticky dough forms.
  3. The dough should be slightly tacky but hold its shape. If too wet, add up to 60 g (½ cup) more flour, a spoonful at a time.

3️⃣ Shape with Spoons:

  1. Grease two large spoons with oil.
  2. Scoop generous spoonfuls of the dough and drop them onto a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.
