πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Chicken

  1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a shallow bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, and garlic powder.
  4. In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs, and in a third bowl, place the flour.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the beaten egg, and finally coat in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure it sticks well.

2️⃣ Cook the Chicken

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the coated chicken breasts and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. The chicken should be cooked through (internal temperature of 165Β°F / 74Β°C).
  3. Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 5–10 minutes to ensure the chicken is fully cooked and the crust is extra crispy.

3️⃣ Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  1. In a separate skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sautΓ© for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (be careful not to burn).
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth, allowing the sauce to come to a simmer. Let it cook for 2–3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard (if using) and Parmesan cheese. Continue to cook for another 1–2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Place the Parmesan crusted chicken on serving plates.
  • Spoon the creamy garlic sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s generously covered.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your choice of side, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
