Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars with Reese’s

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1–2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 cups for a sweeter bar)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and prepare a 9×13 baking pan by greasing it thoroughly or lining it with parchment paper. Lining the pan helps with removing the bars cleanly later, especially since this dough is thick and rich. Allow the parchment to slightly overhang the edges so you can lift the bars out after cooling.
