Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 190°C (375°F) to ensure even baking. Preheating allows the pizza dough to cook evenly and helps the cheese melt properly without overcooking the crust.
- Cook the Ground Beef: In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and crumbly. Season the beef with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper while cooking to infuse it with flavor. Drain any excess fat to prevent the pie from becoming greasy.
- Prepare the Pizza Dough: Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until it fits your pie dish. Carefully press the dough into the dish, ensuring the bottom and sides are even to hold the filling securely.
- Layer the Pie: Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Layer the cooked ground beef over the sauce, followed by shredded mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices. Folding the edges of the dough over the filling helps contain the ingredients and creates a beautiful golden crust when baked.
- Bake: Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese has melted and slightly bubbled. Rotate the pie halfway through baking if necessary to ensure even browning.
