Pizza Chips Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (low-moisture works best)
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. This will prevent the cheese from sticking to the pan and make cleanup a breeze.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well combined. The mozzarella provides the meltiness, while the Parmesan adds a rich, nutty flavor, and the Italian seasoning gives that classic pizza taste.
  3. Using a spoon or your hands, scoop small mounds of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each mound slightly with the back of the spoon to form round « chips » about 2 inches in diameter. Leave a small gap between each mound to allow them to bake evenly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese chips are golden brown and crispy around the edges. Keep an eye on them during the last few minutes to avoid burning. The cheese will bubble and then firm up as it cools, so be sure to remove them from the oven once they are golden and crispy.
