Red Velvet Cheesecake Cake with Cookie Dough

  • 1/2 cup butter (at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup flour, heated to make it safe
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Red Velvet Cake Layers

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp red food coloring
  • 1 tsp vinegar

Cheesecake Layer

  • 680 g cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 1 cup butter (at room temperature)
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tsp vanilla
