Instructions
1. Make the Peach Syrup
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the chopped peaches, sugar, and 1 cup of water.
- Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 10โ12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until peaches are soft and the sugar has fully dissolved.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Blend the mixture until smooth (or mash with a fork for a chunkier texture).
- Strain through a fine mesh sieve for a smooth syrup, if desired.
2. Mix the Lemonade
- In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and the peach syrup.
- Add the remaining 3 cups of cold water and stir well to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity by adding more sugar or lemon juice, if needed.
3. Chill & Serve
