Building the Broth
- Pour in 4 cups of beef broth and 2 cups of water. Stir to combine, making sure the chili paste and other ingredients are evenly distributed. Bring the broth to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Let the broth simmer for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Once the broth has developed flavor, add the ramen noodles. Drop the noodles into the broth and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes. The noodles will absorb the spicy broth and soften, becoming tender and flavorful.
- Once the noodles are cooked, return the beef to the pot and stir to combine. Let the beef warm up in the broth for about 1-2 minutes.
