Ingredients
For the Sausages:
- 12 small breakfast sausages (or regular sausages cut in half)
- Oil or butter for cooking
For the Pancake Batter:
- 1 ½ cups (200 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 ¼ cups (300 ml) milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions
- Start by cooking the sausages. In a large skillet, heat a little oil or butter over medium heat. Add the breakfast sausages and cook, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside, about 8-10 minutes. If using regular sausages, cut them in half and cook them until they’re cooked through and crispy. Once cooked, remove the sausages from the skillet and set them aside on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
