Sausage Dipped Pancakes Delight

Ingredients

For the Sausages:

  • 12 small breakfast sausages (or regular sausages cut in half)
  • Oil or butter for cooking

For the Pancake Batter:

  • 1 ½ cups (200 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¼ cups (300 ml) milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions

  1. Start by cooking the sausages. In a large skillet, heat a little oil or butter over medium heat. Add the breakfast sausages and cook, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside, about 8-10 minutes. If using regular sausages, cut them in half and cook them until they’re cooked through and crispy. Once cooked, remove the sausages from the skillet and set them aside on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
