1οΈβ£ Prepare the Garlic Bread
- Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, and chopped parsley until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
- Place the bread on a baking sheet, cut sides up, and bake for 8β10 minutes, or until the bread is golden and crispy.
2οΈβ£ Cook the Shrimp
- While the bread is baking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2β3 minutes on each side, or until pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.
3οΈβ£ Assemble the Sandwich
- Once the garlic bread is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Layer the cooked shrimp evenly over one half of the garlic bread.
- Sprinkle shredded Monterey Jack cheese over the shrimp.
- Place the other half of the garlic bread on top to form a sandwich.
4οΈβ£ Grill the Sandwich
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of butter.
- Carefully place the sandwich in the skillet and grill for 3β4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet, let it cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
