Snickers Brownie Bars Ingredients For the Brownie Base

* 3 to 4 Snickers bars, chopped
* 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it to ensure easy removal and prevent sticking.

2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until the mixture is thick and glossy. This helps dissolve the sugar slightly and gives the brownies a crackly top.

3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition to fully incorporate. Stir in the vanilla extract for added flavor.

4. Sift the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder directly into the bowl. Folding gently with a rubber spatula, stir until just combined. Do not overmix, as this can result in a tougher texture.

5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top evenly with an offset spatula or the back of a spoon, making sure to reach all corners.

6. In a separate small bowl, whisk the peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk together until smooth and creamy. The mixture should be pourable but thick.

7. Drizzle the peanut butter mixture over the brownie base. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl it into the top layer of the brownie batter, creating a marbled effect.

8. Scatter the chopped Snickers bars evenly over the top of the swirled batter. Press them down slightly so they adhere during baking. If using, sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top for extra richness.

9. Bake in the preheated oven for 28–32 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick near the center; a few moist crumbs are perfect. The edges should look set and slightly pull away from the pan.

10. Remove from the oven and allow the bars to cool in the pan on a wire rack for at least 1 hour. Cooling helps the bars firm up for clean slicing and allows the flavors to meld.

11. Once completely cool, lift the bars out using the parchment paper. Slice into 12 or 16 bars, depending on your preferred portion size.

12. Serve as-is for soft, fudgy bars, or chill in the refrigerator for an hour before serving if you prefer a firmer texture.

Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze bars in a single layer and wrap tightly in plastic; thaw before serving.

Optional Serving Ideas:

* Drizzle with additional warm caramel or melted chocolate just before serving.
* Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a Snickers brownie sundae.
* Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt to enhance the sweet-salty flavor contrast.

These bars are rich, chewy, and packed with gooey caramel, peanuts, and chocolate chunks — just like a Snickers bar in brownie form, but better because they’re homemade!
