: Sugar Sleigh Shots

Ingredients

  • 1 oz sugar cookie or vanilla vodka
  • 1/2 oz white chocolate liqueur or Irish cream
  • 1/2 oz cream or half-and-half
  • Crushed cookie crumbs or red-and-white sanding sugar for rimming
  • Whipped cream topping

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the shot glasses. In a small plate or shallow dish, place the crushed cookie crumbs or red-and-white sanding sugar. Dip the rim of each shot glass into a little water or a small amount of cream to moisten it. Then, roll the rim of the glass in the crumbs or sanding sugar to create a festive, sweet coating around the glass.
  2. Next, combine the sugar cookie or vanilla vodka, white chocolate liqueur (or Irish cream), and cream (or half-and-half) in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill the mixture and combine the ingredients well.
  3. Strain the mixture into the prepared shot glasses, filling each about halfway or to the desired amount.
  4. Top each shot with a dollop of whipped cream for that creamy, indulgent finish. You can either pipe the whipped cream on top for a neat presentation or spoon it on for a more rustic look.
